Welcome,
My name is Lori Ann Nolan. I am the owner, designer,
and webmaster of Nolan Web Design. My goal is help
you build a website, or help you with SEO needs, Admin
Support, or write Articles and Blogs.
I am a second generation Petaluman by birth. The city
of Petaluma is located about 50 minutes north of San
Francisco, and about 30 minutes east of Bodega Bay,
CA. Petaluma has grown too large for me, so I moved
north into the country.
In
1998, I added software development to my professional
skill list. My original software experience is in
the field of Quality Assurance (QA)/Test Engineering.
In-between web jobs I continue to contract jobs as
a Web Designer, Business Systems Analyst (BSA), QA
jobs, plus Writing & Blogging for short term contracts.
I am interested in virtual work.
I
started designing and creating websites in 2001. I
quickly realized that website design/development and
webmaster maintenance is another field I enjoy, so
I continued my web design education and completed
several certificate programs at Santa Rosa Junior
College.
In
2001, I completed my Bachelor of Science degree majoring
in Information Systems with a minor in Business. During
that time, I started working toward my Website Development:
Web Graphic Designer Career Certificate, which I completed
October 2005.
Recently,
I am learning more about blogs. I love writing for
blogs. Plus, I have a keen interest and have learned
how create blogs. Now I am learning how to maintain
them. There is always something new to learn in the
technology field that's why I love this type of work.
Just
a few weeks ago, I was hired to do virtual Quality
Assurance testing. This will allow me to maintain
a sharp technical skill set.
My
most recent undertaking is writing articles for e-magazines,
blogs, websites and as a ghost writer.
Education
is one of the passions in my life. I have been a student
¾ of my entire life while simultaneously working
for living. I will continue enrolling in classes in
order to stay current with technology and provide
my clients with the latest and greatest in my skill
sets.
